On the night between Monday the 21st and Tuesday the 22nd of March, a comrade was attacked in his home in Marseille, France. Action Antifasciste Marseille have made a statement about the attack, saying two people were waiting for our comrade in his apartment building and then made their way into his home. He was stabbed with a knife and beaten with what seemed like a baton. During the attack he was called "sale rouge" (translates roughly to: "filthy red"). Several extreme right blogs and websites had previously published personal information about our comrade, encouraging people to take action. This leaves little doubt about the political motive behind the attack. In spite of everything our comrade is recovering and is in relatively good health. Action Antifasciste Marseille also thank everyone for their support, and say that they will not be discouraged by intimidation tactics. Quite the opposite, they are now more determined than ever in the struggle against the extreme right.
