A mosque in Stockholm was subjected to vandalism when a group of men stormed it just after morning prayers Saturday. The attackers wrote swastikas and other hate speech on the walls. They also threw firecrackers and fireworks into the building before disappearing from the scene, police said.
The mosque was empty when the perpetrators struck, the congregation had left the building after taking part in morning prayers. Only one person was present. He was not physically harmed, but are naturally shocked, said a spokesman.
