In recent years, we have witnessed how the mainstream political climate has progressively moved to the right, towards digestible populism and away from ideological and political ideas, thoughts, and discussions. The radical autonomous and anti-authoritarian movement has traditionally constituted an opposite pole to this. Yet, there are strong indications that the movement currently tends to fall in the same trap of moving away from political ideas . Our meetings, events, and assemblies do not prioritize ideological discussions, they focus instead on moral/ethical standpoints, romantization of the welfare state or are limited to practical or procedural politics. We in SödrⒶ Klubben invite you to a collective discussion event about the local radical autonomous movement's apolitical tendencies, meaningless cancel culture, sectarianism, populism, and pity politics, as well as ways to push forward a radical political agenda in an increasingly apolitical city. Come and join us in a constructive and creative dialogue about how to bring back politics to our movement.
