Today, our comrade and friend Gino faced a new hearing before the Paris Court of Appeal, which ruled in favor of his extradition to Germany within a 10-day timeframe.
The judges yielded to pressures from the European Union and Europol. In doing so, they negated all principles of independence of the judiciary system and of fundamental freedoms.
With the help of our lawyers, we are going to appeal this decision to the Court of Cassation, which will have 40 days from the filling of our appeal to issue a final and definitive ruling.
Now more than ever we ask you to show your support in any way possible (statements of support, banners, protests and gathering in front of the embassies, posters, or anything that you deem fit), to protect Gino from an imminent extradition.
Let’s keep up the pressure and continue our work of solidarity : Gino must not be extradited to Germany.
