This winter activists from Sjælsmark deportation camp organised a strike and a series of demonstrations against the state’s traumatisation of children and adults in Sjælsmark. Activists from Kærshovedgård deportation camp have stood in solidarity with the manifestations throughout.
Some weeks ago activists from both Kærshovedgård and Sjælsmark met. Here it was decided to combine our resistance across camps. Therefore this demonstration is also against Avnstrup, against plans for Lindholm, and for our comrades and family members who are detained in Ellebæk. The fight against the government's death politics towards rejected asylum seekers is a collective struggle!
THESE ARE OUR DEMANDS:
WE WANT THE RIGHT TO EDUCATION
- The right to go to folkeskole
- The right to learn Danish
- The right to internship
WE WANT THE RIGHT TO AN INCOME
- Pocket-money for the children
- The right to work for adults
WE WANT THE RIGHT TO PROPER HEALTHCARE
- Access to doctors, dentists and psychiatric care
WE WANT THE RIGHT TO DAILY NECESSITIES
- We want the right to cook for ourselves
- We want to be able to buy stuff for our children
- We want our children to have the right to play (access to playgrounds, toys, electronics)
WE WANT THE RIGHT TO MOVE FREELY
- We want access to public transportation and/or the possibility to take a drivers license
- We want to be able to go out during the night
- Stop Lindholm and all other measures to isolate us from the rest of society
WE WANT LEGAL JUSTICE
- Reopen our cases
- Access to good lawyers
STOP CRIMINALISING US
- Stop police harassment in the camps
- Remove the duty to register our presence in the camps
- Stop imprisoning us in Ellebæk
STOP DEPORTATIONS
- Stop pushing us to sign our deportation papers
- Close all deportation camps: Kærshovedgård, Sjælsmark, Avnstrup and Ellebæk
We meet the 13th of April 15.00 in front of Christiansborg and walk together through the city center and Nørrebro. The demonstration ends at Folkets Hus, where there will be dinner for all activists from thecamps. Come and stand with us!

I vinteren organiserede aktivister fra deportationslejr Sjælsmark en strejke og en række manifestationer mod statens traumatisering af børn og voksne på Sjælsmark. Aktivister fra deportationslejr Kærshovedgård har stået i solidaritet med manifestationerne.
For nogle uger siden mødtes aktivister fra både Kærshovedgård og Sjælsmark. Her blev det besluttet at man vil gøre modstand sammen! Modstanden skal være tværs af lejre. Derfor er demonstrationen også mod Avnstrup, mod planerne for Lindholm, og for de kammerater og familiemedlemmer der er frihedsberøvede i Ellebæk. Kampen mod regerings dødspolitiker mod afviste asylansøgere er en samlet kamp!

Vi mødes den 13. april kl. 15 foran Christiansborg og går sammen gennem Indre by og Nørrebro. Demonstrationen ender ved Folkets Hus, hvor der vil være aftensmad til alle aktivister fra lejrene. Kom og stå med os!
