I've been working over the past few months on translating Cafiero's summary of Capital for the first time into English (originally in Italian).
Written in 1879, Cafiero's summary was praised at the time, even by Marx, who mentioned that his work was superior to other similar attempts at summarizing the whole first volume of Marx's magnum opus.
Translating this and having it put up on MIA has been a really educational and satisfying process. This work is a great primer on Marxian economics and is suitable for anyone looking to get a greater grasp on basic aspects of leftist thought. It also includes meaty citations of Marx's writing, which is important in its own right.
