BAGGRUND:

ENGLISH INFO:
Stop forced deportations to Afghanistan!
On Tuesday the Danish State will attempt to deport at least 10 people to Afghanistan. We will try to stop it!
BACKGROUND:
Danish authorities want to deport refugees to unsafe conditions and persecution in Afghanistan.
People like Wahid, who has already lost half of his family because he made political art, and therefore was put on Taliban's death list. People like Mohammad, who is forced to leave behind a wife and a 19 month old child in Denmark - a clear breach of the UNs Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Mohammad, Wahid and all the others have good reason to fear for their safety in Afghanistan. 2016 was the year when the conflict between rebels and armed forces in support of the government claimed the highest number of civilian victims since the objective count began in 2009. Currently, nothing points to peace in the near future.
In 2016 the Danish state attempted to forcibly deport several Afghans. Many resisted, some with self harm - one by swallowing a razor blade on the day of the deportation. Despite this, the deportations continued until the Afghani authorities finally refused to accept more deportees from Denmark by passenger flight. However, it seems that they have agreed to recieve rejected asylseekers deported on special flights.
We have reason to believe that a forced deportation of at least 10 Afghans will happen on Tuesday from the airport in Roskilde.
STOP DEPORTATIONS:
We refuse to stand by in silence as the Danish state forcibly deports people who are in need of help and protection. We will not be complicit in breaches of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, nor attacks on refugees' rights!
We urge anyone who can to protest on Tuesday at Roskilde airport on Lufthavnsvej 20, 4000 Roskilde. Be there and resist Denmark's attacks on innocent refugees!
We will do all we can to stop deportations. We will be present all day, and if necessary place our bodies between the refugees and the attempted deportation!
BUS FROM COPENHAGEN:
We have arranged a bus from Copenhagen (Nørrebro) to Roskilde at 9am. It costs 50 dkk, and you sign up for the bus by writing an email with your name and phone number to ingenudvisninger@gmail.com, after which you recieve information about payment. The sign up is binding and only valid after your payment!
INFORMATION MEETING:
On Monday at 5pm there will be an information meeting in Folkets Hus on Stengade 50, 2200 Nørrebro. Here you can ask questions, get more background information, and hear further details about the strategy for the protest. It will also be possible to sign up for the bus on the information meeting, so bring 50 dkk in cash.
PRACTICAL:
It will possibly be a cold and long day. Bring food, warm drinks, blankets and camping chairs. We encourage you to get as many pillows as possible, and put them in plastic bags. We might need to sit on the ground for a while. If you have access to a car, we would like to hear from you!
DEMONSTRATION:
No matter how the planned forced deportations turn out, we will meet at night at 7pm by the Ministry of Integration to protest the way the Danish state treats asylum seekers.
