On Wednesday, a large group of dockworkers (image above) once again gathered outside Gate 4 after being locked out from working their Evening shifts at Scandinavia's largest container terminal.
APM Terminals' industrial action against the Swedish Dockworkers' Union, banning some 280 of the company's dockworkers from working their Evening and Night shifts on weekdays, has so far caused a complete shutdown of the port for a total of 174 hours. The lockout started on the 19th of May and is intended to last until the end of June.
