I Sverige har byggnader ockuperats av aktivister i olika former sedan 1968. Dominika V. Polanska och Mathias Wåg är redaktörerna till boken Ockuperat! Svenska husockupationer 1968-2018. Välkomna till en föreläsning där idéerna och rörelsen kring husockupationer kommer att presenteras och diskuteras.
Dominika V. Polanska är docent i sociologi som forskar om sociala rörelser. Mathias Wåg är journalist, researcher, ansvarig utgivare för tidningen Brand och mångårig aktivist i svensk utomparlamentarisk vänster.
Föreläsningen kommer att ske via zoom, och börjar kl 18. Bokkaféet har öppet från kl 17.

In Sweden activists have squatted buildings in different ways since 1968. Dominika V. Polanska is one of the authors of the book ”Ockuperat! Svenska husockupationer 1968-2018” (Occupied! Swedish house occupations from 1968 to 2018). Welcome to a lecture where the squatting movement as well as the ideas behind it will be presented and discussed.
Dominika V. Polanska is a docent in sociology whose research focuses on social movements. Mathias Wåg is a journalist, researcher and publisher of the magazine Brand, as well as an activist of many years within the Swedish extra-parliamentary left.
The talk will be in Swedish, but we can provide translation upon request. This will be a video-lecture. The bookcafé is open from 5 PM, and the lecture starts at 6.
